SKIN

The cat has a lovely fur jacket
The cow has a leather jerkin
The sheep has a thick woolly jumper
But we have got nothing but skin
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
On the very last day of creation
Nature had emptied her bin
She ran out of clothes for us creatures
So she turned us all out in our skin
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
We were last in the queue at creation
The others all did very well
The birds commandeered all the feathers
And the tortoise flew off with the shell
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
The leathers and hides of the others
Are far more effective than skin
It doesn´t protect you from the weather
But it´s handy for keeping you in
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
Skin is quite good for complexion
It´s handy if you wish to blush
So please treat your skin with affection
Without it, you’re nothing but mush
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
Skin, skin, skin, skin
Nothing but skinny skin skin, skin skin
